Hello Everyone , today i'm going to show you a cool trick to make your own profile photo on facebook a chat emoticon, just like in this photo.

For privacy reasons some people don't want their Facebook profiles to be shown in search engines ( like  Google or Yahoo) because when someone searches for your name on search engines they can find your Facebook account.
If you want to  hide your Facebook profile from search engines just follow these steps :

1. Log in to your facebook account.

2. Go to Privacy sitting.

3. Scroll down to Ads, Apps and websites and click Edit sitting ( like in the picture ).

          
4. Scroll down to Public search and click Edit sitting ( like in the picture ).


 5. Now just uncheck Enable public search ( like in the picture ).

When you update a status on facebook you will see under it the source of that statue ( via phone, via web... )
But now i represent to you a way to change it to almost anything like via Iphone or via the moon ... or via microwave ( like in this picture ). try it and make your friends wonder how you did it ;)

1. Log in to your account.
2. Copy this code and change the red part with one of the codes below ( the one you want your status to be uploaded from ).

3. Now go the new address and type your status then publish it to your wall.

Facebook and Twitter are probably the two most popular social networks right now, therefore it is likely that you have friends on both of them. FriendLynx is an app that lets you find your twitter friends on facebook so you can  follow them.

1. Log in to your facebook account.

2. Go to  http://apps.facebook.com/friendlynx/

3. Sign in with twitter and you will see your twitter facebook friends ( like shown in the picture ).

Note: This app search for the names of your facebook friends on twitter that's why it can give you some profiles that are not your real friends that's why you have to be sure they are your real friends before you follow them.

When you create a facebook account you get a URL which is the web address or location being used in order to access your facebook profile.But it is usually too long like this for example :
www.facebook.com/profile.phd?id=478259118.
So it is gonna be hard to write it down or give it to your friends so they access your account.
 But you can change it to your username or any thing you wont, like this:
 http://www.facebook.com/username
Warning: you can only change your URL once so if you want to change it choose wisely

2. Go to Account Settings and scroll down to Username and click Change.

3. Write the new URL you want a check if it is available (like shown in the picture) then write your password and click "save changes".

It my happened to forget your facebook account open on your friend PC, There is an easy way to find out if your account is open on another device and if so close it from your PC. Just follow these steps

1. Log in to your account and go to account –> account setting –> security.

2. In the bootom you should see "active sessions " click on it 


3. You should see a list of all computers that have logged into your Facebook account, their location, and when this happened.

4. If you see an unknown  device in your list, just click "end activity" on the device and you will automatically be logged out of that device.

This is an easy and simple way to download Facebook videos too to your PC or Mac. Just follow the steps :)

1. Log in to your facebook account an choose the video you want to download, Then right click on the name of the video and copy the link address like shown in the pucture.

2. Once you have copied the link, go to the website http://www.downfacebook.com/ and paste the video URL in the textbox provided and click on the “Download Video” button.

3. Once you click on the button you might be prompted with a Java alert box as shown above, just click the “Run” button on the alert and you will see a link to download the video.


4. Right click on the “Download Video in MP4″ link and select the “Save Linked Content As” from the options. That’s it, you can now save the downloaded Facebook Video on your PC.
