Facebook now tracks the location as well as the device type of the users logging to its various accounts. So, if there is anybody, except you, who is trying to login via a separate device or from a different location, you can easily detect these login details via email or text message on your mobile. Here are the steps to set this new privacy feature called Login Notifications.

1. Log on to your account on Facebook.

2. Browse to Home –> Account Settings –> Security.
3. On the right side, click Login Notifications.
4. Select the desired option that indicates the mode of notification (via e-mail or text message).
